Paul Stewart

PAUL STEWART was born in London and has an M.A. in English from the University of East Anglia. He has done various jobs including fork-lift truck driving, working as a security guard and teaching English as a Foreign Language – but he always wanted to be a writer. After many years of living abroad, he and his family now live on the south coast where he enjoys walking, snorkelling and all kinds of music from ska to Shostakovich. Together with the illustrator Chris Riddell he created the Edge Chronicles, Muddle Earth and the Far Flung Adventures -– three times winner of the Nestle Children's Book Prize.
